Why I Ride
Cancer is the modern day plague of our society and inflicts immeasurable pain in many peoples' lives. It is indiscriminate, cruel, and emotionally ravages those it touches.
I ride for all who have stood tall in the face of cancer.
Texas 4000 creates a unique experience for everyday people to fight for something bigger than themselves and I am honored to carry the Texas 4000 mission across the country. The people we have met along our journey thus far have shared stories of resilience, love and loss and I am privileged to have heard these stories. I ride for those who have shared these stories with me, the stories I have yet to hear, and those stories I may never hear.
Of the the Texas 4000 pillars (hope, knowledge and charity), I namely ride for knowledge. Through the fundraising we do as riders, we are able to provide money for some of the country's top cancer research institutions. With every dollar, we are one step closer to a cure.
Lastly, I ride for my teammates and I ride for you. None of us would be able to do this without the support of our community and you. Please let me know if there is someone in your life you would like me to ride for.
Cancer is relentless, but so are its fighters. I hope you'll join me in my fight for a cancer-free tomorrow!
