About:

I’m a junior at the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, but I moved to Texas when I was 7 years old. I still dread Texas summers, as I still have not adapted to the heat and humidity here. Growing up I was constantly playing with Legos and solving logic puzzles, so naturally I chose to pursue engineering when I applied to UT. My interests outside of school include reading, photography, being a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity, and playing IM sports. I swam competitively most of my life, both on a club team and on my high school team.

Why I Ride

I ride for my grandmother Nancy Linton, my Nana. She is a breast cancer survivor, an amazing grandmother, and a truly inspirational person. She has always been there for my sister and I, supporting us in everything we do. Throughout my entire life she has always been an example for us with her strength, selflessness, and her care for everyone and everything. The highlights of my summers growing up were getting to go visit her in California and going on vacation with her. She has always spoken about how much she loves Alaska, so hopefully we'll get the chance to explore it together when I finish my ride.
