About: My name is Caroline Suh and I am a junior Philosophy major. I was born in Carson City, Nevada and grew up with neighborhood adventures, swim meets, and music lessons.
After my father passed away the summer before my 8th grade year, my family decided to move. We moved to Flower Mound, Texas before my freshman year of high school. I became involved in marching band and other various organizations.
I started attending UT the fall of 2010 and fell in love with the campus and Austin. I love how UT is alive with so many organizations, so many activities, and so many causes. Besides T4K, I'm also in LAHSC, TX Ballroom, and Inspire. I also work at the Liberal Arts Honors office as a student worker.
I have no idea what I plan to do with my life, but I do know that I want to live life to the fullest.

I also have a T4K tumblr: fromatxtoaak.tumblr.com

Why I Ride

Although the idea of cycling 4500 miles terrifies me, I am choosing this endeavor to reach out and give at least one person hope. It is through hope that my family made it through all the challenges; it is hope that gave us strength. I know the gravity that the word “cancer” holds for some. My father’s battle against cancer was the turning point of my life. No matter how cliché and overused that statement is, it does not change the amount of truth it holds. That does not mean that “cancer” means that there is no hope. There is always hope, and to give a single family hope would be the best accomplishment for me.
