About: My name is Travis de Sousa, born in Dallas, Texas, but raised in both Austin and San Antonio. I served for five years in the U.S. Army after finishing high school, and subsequent to that a current student at the University of Texas at Austin.

Why I Ride

Aside from the technical research which will one day bring us a cure for cancer, I believe community, national, and international awareness are key to gain funding, strengthen and empower cancer patients and survivors to always fight the good fight, and to key the public to stay continually aware of this disease which is so devastating on so many levels. Awareness is the most definitely the key element to bring together all other resources that will bring us the cure.
