About: Hola!! I am so excited about this summer I can't even tell yall. Well, hmm about me...I am an advertising major about to graduate in May. I can't believe my college life is almost over, but what a way to end it. I am not sure what I am going to do after my trek across the country, but whatever it is I just want to enjoy it. I am from Houston and have lived in Texas all my life. I love meeting new people and traveling. I spent a semester in Spain and had the time of my life. I also love to be outdoors! Kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, and cliff jumping are all things I love to do. I also love art. Although I have been quite busy lately I love to paint, draw and visit museums.I am on the media committee for Texas4000 so hopefully we will be getting alot of publicity for our efforts, maybe even be on The Ellen Show (which by the way i love)..thanks to Lilly. Anyways I am so pumped to be involved in Texas4000, what an awesome group of people, can't wait to spend 70 days straight with them!!!!

Why I Ride

Well as we all know, everyone is affected by cancer, whether family members, or best friends it unfortunately has a huge presence in our world.I personally have lost three of my grandparents to this horrible disease. The fight they fought is just one of the reasons I am participating in this ride. Just like them, we are pushing ourselves to limits we never thought possible. I think this is incredible, for a group of just regular college students to get together for such a good cause blows my mind. I really believe what we are doing will help people to keep fighting and know they can overcome odds. That is what I love about Texas4000.
