About:
Born and raised in Monterrey Mexico, I lived five years in Germany before transferring to the University of Texas. I am studying Aerospace engineering with the hope of one day design, build, and fly my own airplane.
I have always loved sports. Since I was a child, I would enter the Baseball field full of joy. My shoulders would stretch back, my mind would clear, and I would do my very best. Cycling is my new acquisition to the list. I find it a great combination of team and individual challenge.
Who am I? Well, I'm just a man. A 24 year old with a certain passion in freedom. It is in flying that I find it. It is in sport that I sweat it and live it. It is in being alone that I observe it, and being with people that I show it. And it is in writing that I realize I own it.

Why I Ride
What If we could? Cure cancer for good. If our small grain of sand, and your noble donations could help millions of people, then lets go. I´ll ride to Alaska and beyond if necessary. For the human race, because cancer is controlling us and we have to stop it. There is a cure. I know there is, we, the Texas 4000, know there is, and we hope to help find it.
I am doing this for Camille, my grandmother. A widow with nine children who worked her way thru a hard life, and managed to enjoy every moment of it. She inspires me to live life to its utmost desite its difficulties. This could teach me, that in life, the goal may seem hard but never impossible.
For Cancer, to understand it, fight it, and leave it for historians to talk about it. M.
