About: I am a junior at Texas State University in San Marcos. For my whole life I have always enjoyed exploring the outside world. This trek across America is going to be one to remember.

Why I Ride

I joined the Texas 4000 after hearing Nick Bangia's speech at an Indian festival. He reminded me that many of my family and friends have a history of cancer. I immediately wanted to join. I did not care what I had to do, I just knew I must be a part of this in order to help make a difference in someone's life. This is a great organization, and I hope it will continue for many years.
