I am looking forward to getting out an helping people. Thank you so much for everyone supporting me on this ride to share hope and knowledge with the people that need it the most.

Why I Ride

Why would anyone want to do this?

Well, when I was younger I never knew how much cancer affected people's lives. My first experience was my sophomore year in high school, when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I saw the effects that the disease had on her. I saw the consequences of chemotherapy, and the horrible drugs that are injected into the body. My grandmother endured four long sessions of chemotherapy, but she wasn't one of the luckier ones. The disease went into remission and then came back. The medicine was not enough, and the disease began spread again. She had nothing left. I'll never forget the last time I saw her. The disease not only affects the cancer victims but their loved ones, as well. I have become more aware of the fact that cancer does not care who you are, young, old, rich, or poor. For these reasons I would like to be part of a cause that can make a difference.
