About:
My name is Brynn, and I am 18 years old. I was born in San Diego, CA and grew up on the beach. I moved to Austin when I was 8 and from there just knew I wanted to attend the University of Texas at Austin. I am officially the class of 2007 and in my first semester here at UT I have declared my major (Geography), become a Texas Lonestar, and I have made the UT Rowing Team. I am so excited about this Bike Ride and to be able to do this in honor and memory of all my supporters and thier loved ones.
Why I Ride
My dad has Multiple Myloma, and has had it for close to 8 years now. He has undergone two batches of radiation and chemotherapy, and a complete Stem Cell Treatment. The Stem Cell was rushed and he underwent the whole process in 3 months. He taught my family and me to value life, and to take every opportunity that is given to do something unforgettable. He was a National Skydiving Champion and flew jets for the U.S. Navy, and has climbed Mt. Fuji twice. Our goal is for me to climb it with him the next time he goes, and without cancer awareness, and research we would never have imagined having this opportunity. Others deserve the same chance that we had.
