About: Hi! I'm a freshman Architecture/Plan II major from San Antonio, Texas. I'm passionate about architecture, literature, travel, and the outdoors. In my free time, I play club volleyball for UT and do tech theater for a student-run acting troupe called the Broccoli Project. I'm also a member of the UT chapter of Delta Gamma women's fraternity. The friendships I've made through all these activities are really what define my college experience. I'm excited to develop similar relationships with you and all of my teammates. Above all else, I am yours in the fight.

Why I Ride

I lost both my maternal grandparents to cancer within two years of each other, my grandfather when I was thirteen and my grandmother when I was fifteen. Cancer's timing is never fair, but I feel cheated that I never had the chance to connect with them as an adult. My mom's crazy, adventurous stories about them contrast so completely with the grandparents I knew. It's striking how a force as callous as cancer can so definitively erode a human being. I ride for my grandparents because I want to know them as the people my mom remembers, the father who built their childhood home from scratch and the mother with the adventurous soul and green thumbs. I hope that I can find them along the way.
