Texas 4000: Fighting Cancer Every Mile
Twenty four students from the University of Texas are on their way to complete a bike trek from Austin to Anchorage, Alaska.
They’ve stopped in the Key City for the night to rest up for the 4000 mile ride. The group is staying at the First Baptist
Church in Abilene.
It’s not a ride for leisure, it’s to raise money for cancer research.
The group has trained and planned for more than a year in preparation of the journey this summer.
