About: I am a junior finance major and wealth management minor here at the University of Texas. On campus, I am involved in the Undergraduate Real Estate Society and Ismaili Muslim Student Association. In my free time, I love playing sports, travelling, and listening to indie music. I am currently studying abroad in Sydney, Australia.

Why I Ride

I ride for my daddi (grandmother). She is currently battling against gastric cancer. My daddi is someone who is caring, compassionate, courageous, and most of all an amazing mother, wife, aunt, sister, cousin, friend, and much much more. She is the single backbone of the Punjani family; she dedicates every single day of her life to bettering and taking care of those around her. Whether that meant cooking for her three sons' families or raising her six grandchildren, she was always the one consistent aspect of our family. She moved from India to El Paso with her husband and three sons and worked twelve hour shifts every single day to ensure a good quality of life for her family. To this day she works but in other forms such as raising her youngest son's two daughters, doing paperwork at home for the family business, and taking care of her beautiful garden. The passion she has for life in general is something that I want to emulate at my time in Texas 4000.
