About: Hi, thanks for visiting my rider page!

My name is Dorothy and I'm a senior at the University of Texas at Austin studying finance and marketing. On campus, I am involved with various investment organizations and volunteer weekly to teach financial literacy to underserved Austin area high schools. Outside of school, you can often find me painting, geeking out at art museums, running, and exploring downtown Austin.

This summer I will be biking to Alaska on the Ozarks route to raise awareness and fundraise for cancer research as part of Texas 4000. I am incredibly excited and honored to be part of this crazy journey--biking 4,500 miles from Austin to Alaska through the 'Cancer Belt' with a group of passionate people who ride for their loved ones and for each other. I ride for my aunt who passed away from cancer two years ago and I ride for those like my aunt who never had the opportunity to receive the advanced treatments that we have access to in America.

If you or your loved ones have been affected by cancer, or if you are simply passionate about the cause, I would be more than honored to ride for you and carry your story along the journey. You can reach me at dorothyhhu@utexas.edu.

Love,
Dorothy
