About: Hi! My name is Robert Lopez, a current senior at The University of Texas at Austin.

I am studying MIS (Management Information Systems; involving a ton of coding and data analyzing) and love to get out of my comfort zone (as you can see with my membership with Texas 4000). I play music (guitar and piano), sing a little (in the shower mostly) and love the outdoors (hiked Yosemite Falls on Spring Break '17). I try to travel as much as I can (took a trip to Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada), was previously a Young Life leader at North East Austin, will be a counselor for Pine Cove this summer at Camp in the City and find great joy in serving my local church at The Austin Stone.

I am an open book and full of adventure. Feel free to contact me at my email and ask me any questions you've got about the organization or if you'd simply like to get to know me a bit more. Whatever the case, I'd be happy to answer any questions you've got for me!

Take care,
Robert.

Why I Ride

The more you get to know me, you'll learn that I have close friends and family who have been affected by cancer. So I ride for all my friends and family who were affected by cancer. But more specifically, I ride to see an end to broken families, an end to a child being raised by a single parent, an end to a father and a mother having to say goodbye to their child, an end to brothers and sisters growing up without their partner in crime, an end to restless bedsides, and an end to relationships known only through photographs.

Feel free to contact me as I'd love to hear your story for taking a part in this fight too.
