I am formerly an electrical engineering major heading in the physics teaching direction. My interets include drawing, painting, sculpting, ultimate frisbee, and biking around. I work at a custom furniture shop, Broesche Design, and sometimes for UT Parking and Transportation Sevices. I cut my own hair and I live in a shack. I like Austin and avocados.

I have known several people who have had cancer. Some have been fortunate enough to recover and others have not been so lucky. Either way, cancer has a tremendously detrimental effect on a very large populace. I feel this is an excellent reason to address the problem as I am best able to at this point in my life. I attempted to participate in this group's mission last year but broke my leg at an inopportune time. I hope to complete the trek this year as I believe it to be a worthy endeavor.
