Hi! My name is Sunny Bonnecarrere. I am an Elementary Education major at the University of Texas in Austin. I have attended UT for three semesters, and plan to graduate in December of 2004.

Like many other people, cancer is a disease that has touched my life. Many family members and friends of mine have battled with, overcame, or were lost to cancer. When my husband and I found out about Texas 4000 last fall, we were hooked. Until then, it seemed that there was nothing we could do to help. Now, through this wonderful organization, we are able to do our part to assist in the fight against cancer. Since we are still quite poor, Seth has donated his body and I have donated my time. We hope to spend the summer traveling from city to city, raising awareness about cancer and the amazing programs the American Cancer Society has to offer!
