I was born in Jefferson City, Missouri. I pretty much grew up in Texas, but have lived in Kansas and New Mexico in addition to Texas & Missouri. I've also spend time in London and New York City.

I graduated last May from Texas A&M with my Masters in Management Information Systems, emphasis on E-Commerce and Marketing. I work a day job to get by and freelance as a web designer and music promoter. I also write for dallasmusicguide.com and am an aspiring photographer.

I have also completed 2 marathons and a triathlon.

I lost my grandmother to breast cancer and a very close friend to brain cancer. Cancer is something that has very directly affected my life. Something of this magnitude I can do to help out cancer victims and promote cancer awareness is something I feel is worth pursuing. In addition, I love physical challenges, travelling, and nature. There is no way to better combine all of the above than this ride to Alaska.
