Biography
I was born in Dallas, Texas and lived there somewhat sucessfully for eighteen years. Once I breathed Austin air and looked at my RTF degree plan, I knew I would be here for a minimum of five years.
When I'm not in class, I work 30+ hours a week, review movies for the Daily Texan, and sleep when I find a few extra minutes. I also like gum.
People have enormous difficulty pronouncing my last name. If you come up to me on the street and say it correctly, I'll give you a nickel and a few minutes of respect.
Personal Statement
In a time when most of the country's youth is self-obsessed, I find it incredibly refreshing to know that there are some who look beyond immediate personal gratification, and are willing to go to the ends of the earth to make it a better place, and I feel very fortunate to have the chance to be a part of it.
