I am a geology freshman. For as long as I can remember ever having a deep desire to do anything I have wanted to see this country, especially the Sierras and the west coast up through highway 1. I had been considering taking a road trip or hitch hiking to do it and then found out about this. Such a perfect way to see it and so much better than I could have imagined.

Not only should we use this opportunity to help others but we should take advantage of the opportunities that our health is giving us to enjoy all that many others are too sick to even consider but want more than anything. We would be taking for granted what so many are constantly dreaming of if we did not make the most of this trip.
