I am 20 years young and enjoying my second year here at the University of Texas at Austin! I'm a girl who loves to explore the great outdoors, especially going running, hiking, kayaking, you name it. I'm currently studying to obtain my B.S. in Public Health am have a goal to enter the public health workforce as a career. I hope to one day work for Doctors Without Borders to travel and prevent the spread of disease. I have a deep and growing compassion for those affected with disease, especially cancer and I am so blessed to be given this opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.

Cancer affects everyone, and I ride for those who are struggling, has struggled, and will struggle with this horrible disease. I especially ride for my grandpa, who passed away from lung cancer two weeks before I entered into this world. I've only heard great and interesting things about him as I grew up, and I could only wish cancer didn't take away his life. I will do the best that I can to spread hope, knowledge, and charity for the cause.
