I went to High School in Plano, TX, but have not had the opportunity to remain in one place for more than 5 years. I was born in Belarus and moved to the U.S. in 1990. I went to UT for 4 ½ years graduating in 2004 with a degree in Government and returned in 2005 for my pre-med requirements. I am currently working as a tech in the Heart Hospital of Austin ER, and plan on going to medical school. I have been enthralled by mountain biking for 5 years and love being outdoors; especially camping, riding, and travelling with my buddy Malko, a 4 year old mutt. I feel that cancer is an important disease that affects many people throughout their life times, and only through research and funding can better and better cures be implemented.
