Hi there, Iâ??m Mione, born and raised a first generation Texan. Iâ??m happy to say Iâ??ve seen some of the world. I love travelling and exploring new places, and seeing how different but similar we all are. I always seem to gain a little Austin pride though, wherever I go. Iâ??m a senior, studying Electrical Engineering. Eventually Iâ??d like to go to Law school and see what surprising avenues it could open up. I have big dreams and Texas 4000 is one of â??em. What a great physical, mental, and emotional challenge! Maybe Iâ??ll see a few butterflies along the wayâ?¦

Although cancer is not a battle that we all must personally fight, it is a battle that everyone should be concerned with. Sometimes itâ??s hard to put yourself in someone elseâ??s shoes and really understand the difficulties cancer creates. A close friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and fought it beautifully. She never lost her strong spirit and continues to share that with everyone she meets. Texas 4000 allows me to hopefully share some of my energy with others as well. Iâ??m proud to be a part of something so strong and positive!
