Hi, im emily, i was born and raised a Texan. Iā??m happy to be attenting the wonderful Unversity of Texas, furthering my texanism.. haha. Here im am majoring in theatre and dance, but since this is only my second semester at college, i have a feeling this could change, but im excited to see what will happen. I am very competative person and like to push myself to accomplish things that are difficult and challenging. This summer will be the most most amazing and wonderful thing i have ever taken part in and will be hard emotionally and physically alike.

When i saw the flyer for texas4000 i knew it was one of the best things i could do to honor my sister.She passed away from cancer this past March at the young age of 15, she put up an amazing fight and i feel that its only fair to do the same for her and the countless number of people which this awful disease has touched. whether it be the family members, the paients or the doctors this ride is for you, for all that you've been through and what you have done, i thank you!

My sister inspired me to fight and to live life to its best and fullest, thats how i see this ride, an experience to help others fight back and i want this to help!
