Biography
Texas born, Texas raised, Texas schooled. At 23, I guess Iâ??ve lived in Texas my whole life (except for that random year in New Hampshire when I was 3). Anywho, when Iâ??m not doing the grad school thing in Transportation Engineering at UT, youâ??ll probably find me at your local bar trying my best to become a rock star. If Iâ??m not there, check the APD dispatch radio: theyâ??re probably on their way to tell me to turn down my amp â?? again. Other than music, I dig the outdoors, my nieces and nephews, good mexican food, el Bandito, and strawberry fields forever.
Personal Statement
One of my good friends in high school died from cancer during my senior year. What really affected all of us then was that the whole thing was so completely sudden and seemed so random â?? all of my friends realized that any one of us could have been lying in the casket instead of attending a funeral. Sometimes when I am feeling down and childishly complaining about unimportant things, I think about Morgan and realize that I should feel lucky to have the privilege of experiencing life.
