Born in Kansas City and raised in Texas by California parents, it's not a stretch to say I'm a little bit of everything. I'm a physics major who plays three instruments, writes a few songs, plays soccer, and loves salsa and swing dancing. Not sure what I'll be doing after school just yet, but since I'm very into music, I'd like to work on something like recording equipment or electric guitars.

Cancer is truly something that affects everyone. Personally, I had a number of relatives, including my namesake, die of cancer before I was born, so I never had the chance to meet them. Since so many people are diagnosed with cancer, and countless more are affected, I can't think of a better cause to support with such a tremendous undertaking. I also think that in an age where you hear about juvenile delinquents left and right, it's very refreshing to hear about a group of young people doing something so enormous and positive.
