Texas 4000 Tribute is a celebration and fundraising event celebrating and honoring Texas 4000 For Cancer and the cyclists devoted to the cause. This year marks the 10th Anniversary! Below is a formal letter sharing some insight into the event from our Tribute Committee.
Dear Friends:
Cancer has crept in and left its mark on far too many lives in the most devastating ways. It does not discriminate and reaches clear across the globe. Fighting this disease and searching for a cure is a battle we've committed to winning. Join the team and "Join the Ride".
The riders of Texas 4000 For Cancer, and all of us that support them, are on a mission to spread hope across the continent as the riders touch lives while cycling over 4,500 miles from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska. As they ride they will be sharing knowledge of prevention and early detection methods, and raising funds for cancer research and victim and family support initiatives.
At the conclusion of the longest annual charity bike ride in the world, and with a message of hope and celebration, we bring you the Texas 4000 Tribute 2013!
We are thrilled to support Texas 4000 by volunteering to plan the Texas 4000 Tribute Gala celebrating the success of the 2013 cyclists and raising much needed funds to support the mission of the organization.
