About: My name is Jeffery. I was born to two inspiring parents, Kathy and Che. My life aspiration is to practice medicine, both ethically and justly. I believe that the most fulfilling thing in life is giving back. Traveling is a close second. My favorite color is somewhere between a forest and hunter green. I hope to be fluent in Spanish one day. My biggest fear in life is forgetting the people around me. My favorite book is by Harper Lee, followed by Cormac McCarthy. I’m a sibling to a younger sister - one with the sincerest ambitions for life, an uncanny ability to exhume excitement, and a talent for living life in good humor. She’s my favorite person ever.

I am beyond grateful for this experience.

Why I Ride

I ride for empathy and compassion.

Cancer is a term we’re all too familiar with. Its ruinous effect leaves permanent impressions on a loved one’s closest family and friends. Its toxic physiology addles one’s body and saps one’s mind of all previous vitality. It’s a term associated with loss, and even sadness. But cancer’s most frightening quality is its inability to discriminate. In one stroke, it’s able to erode away life and halter our aspirations.

To recompense, we ride to spread hope, knowledge, and charity.

I ride for the family and friends pained by cancer because their dedication is beyond what I’ll ever know. I ride for the individuals who yearn for their previous strength because the power to persevere is not only strength, but also the most powerful display of character. I ride in honor of and in memory of life and also for the bereaved. I ride for happiness. I ride for a cure for cancer.

I ride for MK, JS, OV, MM, and MF.
