About:

At a mere 3 months of age, I moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While I do not remember it all that well, I think my toddler years were slightly different than other kids of my age. For one, I had a mesh play area in my backyard so that giant lizards could not eat me. Other than that, Malaysia was an incredible place. I consider the families that I met in Malaysia as a part of my own. We celebrate all the holidays together and go on trips with each other.

At age 5, I moved to Texas, and this is my home. I love BBQ, I love country music, and I especially love the beautiful outdoors that Texas has to offer.

I am an Environmental Science Major with a passion for education. I hope to learn Spanish and teach internationally after I graduate.

Why I Ride

If you were to ask any of my family of what I was like growing up, I think that would all agree that I was a dreamer. I dreamed big. I dreamed of adventure, and even at a young age, I dreamed that all the pain I saw around me would go away. Now at age 19, I'm still a dreamer, but more than that, I want to be a "doer".I am so thankful for Texas 4000 because it gives me an opportunity to work towards achieving my dreams and the shared dreams of so many of my other teammates. It is my dream that the next generation will not have to see the pain that cancer causes to so many, and in Texas 4000 we are fighting to make that dream a reality.
