Much to the dismay of the group, Eagle Scout's trek decided to lose its bearings (literally) and ride in the van for the entirety of the trip. Rode into Lockhart for some awesome BBQ at Black's. Almost slipped into a food coma after a helping of brisket, peaches, mash potatoes, and gravy. More riding without much ado to Palmetto State Park. The view from the hill was amazing. Camping for the first time in a real park without "adult supervision" (what? I'm an adult??) was interesting. Let's say I invested in a pillow at the next Walmart stop. Whipped up some chicken breast and drumsticks, mushy pasta, and roasted, toasted, and flaming to a crisp marshmellows. Nothing like meat, meat, meat, after a short day's ride. I proceeded to sneeze my head off that night and cough up some right interesting things in the morning. What on earth did God create allergies for? Navigator and Pumba decided to sleep by the roaring fire that ended up pooping out right after midnight. Whoever knew emergency blankets would come in handy?
