by Samuel Kutscha Aug 14, 2010 Having not taken our Alaska sign pictures at the first border crossing, we had to head back and finish the job. It was a 2 hour sag to the border, 2 hours at the border, and 2 hours back. We didn't get on our bikes until 5. I was skeptical that we could finish, but I pushed hard to complete 65 miles as quick as possible. I saw a bald eagle that fought some other birds before posing for pictures. I was the first to arrive on bike to the camp. It was late and everyone tried to get to bed as quickly as possible.
