by Samuel Kutscha Aug 14, 2010 I awoke to find out that our hosts had raised a substantial amount to help our cause. Shilen gave them a signed jersey, a very generous gesture. Just as we were about to set out, our team was reunited with Natasha and those brave and generous enough to go with her. We set out and they drove to join us at the first rest stop. Our campsite in Teslin was quite nice and Porter and I took advantage of the nice weather to cool off in the river before dinner. Knowing that it was going to be the last full day as just Rockies, we had a feel good circle talking about how much we appreciated each other. We also planned "Operation Pin Drop" in which we would wake up early on day 64 and leave the Sierras. I think it was a response to how nervous we all were about adding more people to our already very tight group.
