by Samuel Kutscha Aug 13, 2010 Some of the team was up all night with some food poisoning. They stayed at the church while the rest of us set out. I started my ride with Jordan and we set a quick pace to the first stop. It was right next to a canyon with natives fishing. I saw a man catch a three foot salmon with a long Gaffe stick. He had to kill the fish with a bat it was so big. Some of the team took off to do the rest of the ride withou support. I opted to ride slow with Jordan, Natasha, and Andea. At the next rest stop we enjoyed Chinese food but it soon started to rain. As soon as we had all of our rain gear on I ran over a self tapping screw. It went through my tire, both sides of my tube and through the inside of my rim. I was able to use another tube and it soon stopped raining. We arrived late to dinner at the rv park we were staying at but plates had been fixed for us. I enjoyed some outdoor pingpong, a beer, a shower, and some sleep.
