Rest in Whitehorse, YT

I woke up at 8 this morning. I really wanted to sleep more, since we all slept pretty late, but my body is too used to being awake early. I got up and journaled a bit and checked my email. After a majority of the people woke up, we took a couple vans into town to have brunch. Compared to other restaurants in Canada, this place had pretty good prices for the food proportions. We got back to the church around 2:30, and I immediately passed out on my sleeping bag.

I woke up around 5pm, as people were talking about going to watch the movie Inception. They were leaving soon, so I quickly got my stuff together and jumped in the van. As for many of my teammates, this was the first time in months I’d watched a movie in theaters.

Right now it’s 2am, and I’m satisfied. After an easy day, I’m relaxing outside on a chair with about 20 others waiting to see the Northern Lights.
