by Wilson Ho Aug 04, 2010 Swift River, YT to Teslin, BC Today, I woke up an hour early to cook breakfast and get the team ready for the day. The other van didn’t come back last night, but yesterday, we had heard that Natasha is feeling a lot better, and they’ll be arriving soon. We did the ride dedication with Rick and Tammy, our hosts. As everyone was about to ride out, the other van showed up. We were really excited to see them to ride our last full day as Rockies together. We rolled into the Teslin campsite around 6pm, and we prepared dinner. Since tonight is our last night as a team, we spent it around a campfire for one last pow-wow. We went around in a circle like we always do, and said something either to specific people or the group. It was emotional and amazing as everyone shared stories and memories. We’ve molded so well as a team that it’s going to be so different when we meet with the Sierras tomorrow. Tomorrow’s the second longest ride of the trip, and we’re about to get 4 hours of sleep. What a good night!
