by Jinyang Liang Aug 04, 2010 Lucky Rockies, we drove through the forest fire!! Waking up at 5am, we rushed to the highway block at 7:20. On the van, I heard the news that Natasha got really really sick last night. She still wanted to wait to the morning and drive with us but her screaming and yelling told us that NO. Dan, Andrea, Kelly, Whitney drove with Natasha back to Dease Lake. They will see doctor there and I pray that Natasha will have a quick recovery and get back to her bike as soon as possible. Rick, our host in Swift River, is amazing. He has hosted us for all 7 years and helped us to raised over $760 for our team in the past year. Hot shower and laudrary is absolutely amazing!! Later at night, we all went to hung out at the small pub of the cotinental divide lounge. John "Jornny Cash" Fitch had a wonderful performance. Although the sky is gloomy and the rain is chilly, I felt warm in this tiny pub because this place belongs to Rockies - 27 warm hearts sharing 1 purpose.
