by Dustin Barrientes Aug 10, 2004 i'm sitting in the Riverside RV park where we camped at in Whistler. good to see that the riders have made it. the past few days have been rather good. Williams Lake was just about the best night i've had. met up with some riders who invited to me camp out with them, as they were having a race (downhill) the following day (Sunday). so that was fun. those kids can ride. TX riding couldn't compare to what these kids were hitting. really did not want to leave the next morning, but decided to head to Whistler anyway. and here i am. a girl by the name of Ashley, one of the many rad folks i met in Williams Lake, informed me that Parking Lot 4 allows overnight parking, so i've been sleeping in my truck. i think that's 4 nights in a row in the front seat. it's starting to get kinda comfortable, though last night i accidently set off the alarm on my truck. oops. TX4000 seems as a distant memory now. i've pretty much decided to do it again next year. gotta get back to Williams Lake. it's dangerous. anywho, i'm pretty much out of Canadian $$, so i've been hitting the little skate park and bmx track here at Whistler. seems weekdays here are quite tame compared to what we saw 3 weeks ago. and my time on this comp is just about up. ciao... dbear
