Training halts are miserable

So I have been held back a little bit in terms of training lately. I have been having knee pain in my left knee while I cycle. The pain came out of nowhere, and I am hoping it is not anything serious. Talking to other professionals it could be something simple that a posture adjustment on my bike would fix. I am hoping it isn't anything serious that needs medical attention.

I have never had an injury besides a sprained ankle, which healed in a couple days, that has inhibited me from training. I feel like a junkie without his fix. I love training and taking my body to higher fitness level, so when I am taken away from that.....it is super frustrated. I am trying to be as patient as possible though.

I have been taking medication that strengthens and lubricates joints and ligaments in hopes that I just need to give my knee a little break. If it continues to bother me, I plan on going to see Dr. Ted Spears with Sport Performance International. He has been recommended to me from many people.

I see this recent injury as a blessing in disguise in a way because your body is not made out of steel. It has the capabilities to become injured and actually need rest for once. I just have to come to understand that. I will keep pushing until I am back doing my thing on the bike.

I will be one happy camper when I am back to full,

John
