by Charlie Saginaw Dec 20, 2009 I am sitting an internet cafe in Leon, Nicaragua. The trip so far has been amazing. Although all the bikes I see are fairly primative and to small for my 6´2 frame, my first instinct is to jump on one and explore the country side. I have been talking about Texas 4000 a lot. In my broken Spanish, I tried to explain to a 11 year old boy, ¨voy a montar mi bic a Alaska...¨ Also, the other backparkersat my hostal really support our message and goals. Who knows maybe there could be a Latin American T4K ride?
