Whitehorse

warning: this is going to be short, because the internet cafe i am at is about to close.

we only have about 9 days left. Crazy to think we have been on the road for 60.

this is our last day off until anchorage, so i have done it up right by doing everyones laundry. i have avoided the task all summer and finally decided to step up to the plate. i even splurged on oxy-clean to try to get the stains out of everyones jerseys. i have deemed the task impossible and am content with the fact that they dont smell anymore.

we have met back up with the sierra team. they arrived in whitehorse yesterday after driving from prince george to meet up with us. it will be interesting to have them around for the next 9 days of riding. but im looking forward to it. new riding buddies and tons more chaos.

everything else seems to be going well. people are still feeling tired and we are working to power positive everyone through the last few days. a lot of this includes singing random songs and having mini parties in the van at rest stops. and by parties i mean playing music while everyone sits on a comfy seat their rears dont slide off of and eat bizzar combinations of food.

it has gotten to that point that we are asking each other what they are going to do once they get home (a true sign a trip is drawing to a close)

my answer: sitting on a couch for a week, watching movies and eating nothing but fruits, veggies and fresh fish. i dont think i will be able to face spaghetti, peanut butter or oatmeal until sometime next semester.

well, im off ill be seeing yall soon and will post as often as possible between here and the finish line. which will prob not be often cause this area of the world is pretty desolate when it comes to internet and showers (both of which are life necessities)

ciao
