From the moment I was accepted to the team to now, I have been asked by many people, "How's the training going?!!". The truth is, things have been pretty hectic, so I haven't been training with the team as much as I should be. But the reality is slowly starting to kick in, and I'm slowly getting into the groove of things.

Another question people have asked me is, "So, when does your journey to Anchorage start?". Even though we don't officially start our ride until June, my answer has been: "the journey has already started". Yes, this journey is going to be long, but we're going to make it...especially with the support from so many different people. The support we give each other as teammates is amazing, and the support we get from all of the people who have donated to Texas 4000 is insurmountable. Thank you to all of you who have already donated to help the 2010 team work towards our goal of raising $400,000!

The inspiration I get from our "Why I Ride" at the beginning of every Monday night meeting truly makes an impact on the rest of my week. Keeping these people and families in my prayers has reminded me what the Texas 4000 experience is all about - sharing hope, knowledge and charity throughout our journey. And I know that this IS the beginning of a wonderful journey.
