Updates about the team!

Recently, the team 2010 set a goal to raise $400,000, this means that each rider needs to contribute at least $6,600. The team has already fundraised $130,000! Thanks to the support of my donors, I have been able to contribute $3,124.96 to the grand total.

Two weeks ago, I panhandled with two other teammates for an hour and we were able to get $180 in donations. I was impressed of the support that locals had about the organization. In the town of Lance Armstrong is great to be a cyclist, especially one that is fighting to beat cancer!

We were already told the bike that we will have: A Felt Z 85. I never thought I could like a bike this much. It’s amazing, the tires are red and the frame is black.. is just perfect and the whole team loves them. We should be getting our bikes by on October 24th!

Check out the bike here:

As far as training goes I am going to the gym and trying to improve my running time. On Monday, one of my teammates couched me on how to improve. I was able to do a mile in 10 minutes and another one in 10:20 Now I need to multiply the previous success times 4 and be able to do 4 miles in less than 40 minutes by the time we get our bikes!

Thanks a lot for taking the time to read my blog and support me!
