by Adam Pirkle Jul 27, 2004 After the Rocky Route stayed in Prince George, Carly wrote a journal entry saying that there was some trouble with their mail, but everything seemed to work out in the end. Well, we showed up in Prince George, and Tommy went ahead of the group to retrieve our mail (unaware of the Rocky Route's troubles). They gave him a couple of packages and letters that had just arrived, including a few for members of the Rocky Route, and informed him that the rest of our mail had been forwarded to Anchorage. What?! I guess it's our fault for setting up a mail drop for both teams in the same city. Live and learn. Oh yeah... we arrived at the home of our host family, David and Susan, where we found a truck pallet of protein cookies (200 lbs, errr, I mean 90.7 kg of them, which is approximately 893,145,123,461 cookies) waiting for us. Apparently they were shipped to the Rocky Route, but didn't arrive soon enough, so we'll be trucking them to Whitehorse. Don't worry guys, you'll see your cookies in just a couple of days, although the shipment might be a few kilos lighter.
