Four days in and we're having a great time. Summer weather finally came to Texas, 104 in Austin on Tuesday...the day we left. We've been leaving early, still trying for 6:30am, and getting in at least 30-40 miles before the sun burns the clouds away. Our hosts have been so generous and wonderful to us. Several have commented that we don't eat like this normally...right now I'm letting steaks, homemade mashed potatoes, a spinach salad, and an avocado salad settle before hitting the showers. Did I mention that Texas Exes are the greatest?

This is our first access to an Internet connection, so there's a line. We're going to try to find a Schlotzkey's or other WiFi point in Oklahoma City. Riding Strong...
