Day 43: To Olympia. WA

Richard and I woke up this morning to the smell of a wonderful breakfast. Our hosts in Longview made us some sausage, eggs, and delicious toast with homemade jam.

Today, we're headed off to a parade, which means we have to hurry. We were supposed to hurry, but my tire was kind enough to give me 3 flats as a gift. Looks like I'll have to replace those. We ended up making it in time to a gigantic parade in the city which actually turned out to be the capital

Riding a bike in a parade is super tough though. It's hard to make a bike go slower then 4 mph and keep your balance. It was still lots of fun though

We came back to stay at host families for the night. We stayed at a house with 2 children, both a boy and a girl. I've played so many games and galloped around the house so much that it's just hilarious and awesome. I helped build a train track, race some farm animals, and even color in a magic coloring book that wont let you color outside the lines. Oh and played with some hilarious dogs

One thing about being with kids is realizing the fact that kids need very little to keep them entertained. Jonah seemed to be perfectly adept at taking off his pants and running around. It makes me wonder where our child like enthusiasm went for the world. Going on this ride has gradually made me realize how little we really need to enjoy life.

Jon and I are super content, and have had some awesome conversations with our hosts. Tomorrow's another day, as a again pass out finishing up blogs.
