Day 29 - San Francisco Rest Day

Today was an absolutely wonderful day, much thanks to Leian who planned it all out for me and mom! I woke up IN A BED at the Holiday Inn and my sis, mom, and I headed out to get some Chinese food in San Fran, per my request. It was delicious considering I've had PB&J for lunch for the past few weeks.

We then headed to San Fran's Japanese Gardens. It was gorgeous, and I felt like a tourist again--snapping away at the beautiful scenery and setups.

To close the day, we had to venture out to Fisherman's Wharf via trolley for some clam chowder and fresh sea air. However tired I was from it simply being the afternoon, it was a fun time with some gorgeous views of the world. I could definitely see myself revisiting SF soon.

For dinner I parted with my family and headed to Carlos's abode for some sweet BBQ. I took care of some bike maintenance issues, and he hooked me up with a new saddle. Yes, I have changed my saddle-- per request of my mother, sister, and grandmother--whom want to be a grandmother, aunt, and great grandmother respectively. So long sweet Felt stock saddle. You have served me well. Tomorrow we ride the Golden Gate Bridge. Should be exciting! Until then... peace and God bless.

p.s. Happy birthday, America.
