by Eric Chen Jun 19, 2009 Who knew New Mexico could be so gorgeous?! Today we were blessed with a nice tailwind and long and beautiful downhills. The roads wound left and right, but the long stretches of downhill were definitely most memorable. The greatest was that we could yell at the top of our lungs and still no one would hear us because the wind muffled everything we were screaming. One nuance was that the morning was FREEZING (45 degree weather in the summer!). We were all decked out in our T4k cold weather gear before riding our that morning. In a nutshell, we were all extremely tired--nearly all of us only getting 5 hours of sleep (from 11pm to 4am).
The hills were GORGEOUS and pointed me towards the Creator of this world.
We had some crazy uphills, which when climbing seems as though we were climbing towards heaven.
(conquered!):
And I got to take just some crazy amazing photos.
