by Adam Pirkle Jul 13, 2004 Oregon has a very nice coastline, as all the residents are quick to point out. In fact, they seem to be obsessed with the beauty of their state; I think that if you were to tell someone from Oregon that California has a prettier coast, they might flip out and kill you. The coast has been awesome, despite all the hills and headwinds. The roads are fairly nice, and the drivers are pretty courteous (except for logging trucks, which always seem to be piloted by bloodthirsty lumberjacks or something). I think that the drivers in New Mexico have been the rudest so far; one guy on Route 66 actually went so far as to stop his car and yell at us. We're staying in a nice little beach house tonight in Lincoln City, and the office down the street has something that I've been longing for lately: a hot tub. I jumped in, then ran down some stairs to jump in the cold, cold ocean, then back to the hot tub. Then I did it again. Tommy wants his computer now.
