Well in just under two months we'll be heading off to Alaska. I know the rest of the team is with me when i say I can't wait. These next three weeks of school can't go by fast enough. Since my last post I've gotten to know the team much better and i can't wait to spend the summer with such a fun and interesting group of people.

Training is hard to squeeze in with school. On top of the heaviest course-load I've ever taken I some how have to find time to get on my bike and put in some miles. The majority of my training miles have been on the weekends. It's sometimes pretty hard to get out there and train - but it's reassuring to know it'll make the summer a little easier.

This past weekend we all drove down to MD Anderson in Houston. Unbelievably it was my first visit to Houston. It was encouraging to hear about where the past riders' money went and how medical breakthroughs are being made.
