by Shawn Walker Nov 02, 2006 At the end of September my friend and I held a joint birthday party. At the gathering a 4 liter Carlo Rossi bottle (empty, of course) was sent around the chaotic scene to collect loose change and floating dollar bills. I recently counted the donations: $55.42! This coming from poor college students. Makes getting donations look a bit easier. I wish I could be out there with everyone in Texas raising money together. But we'll have plenty of days on the road to spread the word. Today the first few snowflakes dropped, reminding me once again of what's coming in the near months. Dear god, where did I put my shovel?
