Day thirteen--Pratt, KS

A quick synopsis since my last entry--

From Oklahoma City (OKC) we then went to Stillwater, OK, home of Oklahoma State University (i am having to use our calendar to refresh my memory cause all the days blend together as one). Next was Winfield, KS this was a very cute town of 10,000 with brick roads, trains, parks, and lots of cyclists. My favorite things there was playing sardines in the big church we stayed in.

Next stop was Wichita where we also took a "day off" (i'm pretty sore and sunburned from that day) at a camp ground complete with the #3 best lake to go sailing in. So you can imagine me making a friend by the end of the day. It was a beautiful 17' catamaran and 25 mile/hr wind. OHH, it was fun! Keith and Steph Snyder and the OZ Cycling Club took good care of us by reserving the sight and treating us tio dinner last night.

Today we are staying in Pratt, KS being taken care of some lovely ladies.

The past few days have been very wet, including a severe storm at 2am last night where we all have to run for shelter. The crosswinds in Kansas are also making cycling a bit more tough.

A few things Kansas has to offer if you're ever interested:

--The world's largest ball of twine

--The world's largest prarie dog

--The worlds largest hand-dug well

And i thought every thing was bigger in TEXAS--boy was i wrong.
